Born from Hawaiian surf culture, paddleboarding provides an excellent balance and core workout, as well as a fun and relaxing way to enjoy the warm Minnesota summer. Instruction will start on land with brief water safety, balance tips, and paddling strokes. All necessary equipment will be provided. Youth Enrichment Information Due to COVID-19 precautions, only registered participants of activities are allowed in District buildings. Parents are not permitted to enter the facility nor stay to watch practices or activities. Exception: if the participant is 5 years old or younger, one parent may attend. Please keep siblings at home. Instructors will greet students at the entrance before class and return them to the same door when class is complete. Instructors will wear a mask and face shield Anyone over the age of 5 years must wear a face covering at all times – regardless of what activity they’re participating in.
